Roger S. Conrad Senior Investment Manager Roger Conrad is a Senior Investment Manager of Leeb Capital Management Inc.’s Investment Committee and focuses primarily on securities that provide a combination of income and the potential for long-term capital appreciation. His work is particularly important for investors whose investments objectives include current income and/or those who face mandatory distributions from their retirement accounts. Roger is very well qualified to advise on income-producing equity securities. In 1989, he founded the Utility Forecaster newsletter. It presents investment advice on electric, natural gas, communications, water and foreign utility stocks, bonds and preferred stocks. In 1997, Utility Forecaster was named the Best Financial Advisory by the Newsletter Publishers Association. Roger researches and follows more than 250 securities, employing a rigorous five-stage methodology that includes a proprietary safety rating system and a value index that compares prospective total returns with a security’s current price to earnings ratio. Roger has worked with Leeb Group’s Chairman, Stephen Leeb, since 1990 in various capacities including as an associate editor for Personal Finance, one of the nation’s largest investment advisory publications, where Stephen is editor and Roger writes the Income Report focusing on a wide range of yield and safety-oriented investments. He has also co-authored two books with Stephen, Market Timing for The Nineties (HarperCollins, 1994) and The Agile Investor (HarperCollins, 1997). Roger holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Emory University and a Masters of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management. |
